Since 1971, Oregon High School Rodeo Association has given students across the state the chance to compete, grow, and develop leadership through rodeo. We are proud members of the National High School Rodeo Association, and our athletes compete in events throughout Oregon for a chance to qualify for State Finals and subsequently, the National High School Finals.

Events hosted across the state by rodeo clubs in each community

No minimum or maximum rodeos required — compete in as many as you choose.

Points earned at every rodeo —qualify for the State Finals.

Top 10 placings earn points at each rodeo (1st = 10 points … 10th = 1 point).

Best 8 rodeos count toward State Finals qualification (up to 80 points total).

Top 20 in each event advance to the State Finals. Top 4 in each event after State Finals qualify for Nationals. 5-20 in each event qualify for Silver State International.
What Are You Waiting For?
Each member of OHSRA has an opportunity to join their regional club in their area to be part of a club and help produce a rodeo in their area. OHSRA membership offers a discount to membership to students who join a club, others are considered independent members and membership dues are higher for them.

Membership Discount
Students who join a club receive a reduced OHSRA membership rate.
INDEPENDENT MEMBERS WELCOME
Students who do not join a club may participate as independent members, though membership dues are higher.
